can houseplants cause bugs
can houseplants cause bugs and other fun pests (I've had this in a few of my own crops). It doesn't seem fair to the other species you grow and protect with your seeds. When you decide to make your own plant, you should check the source and the variety. If there are few, then you need to make sure you have enough good choices to buy locally. I've had this in hand when I bought seeds and I kept many in my fridge. If I need something more important (like a tomato or corn, or the white stem for a wheat crop, or whatever) then I should probably buy it from the farmer. I can often find it online as well.

I'm a big fan of this plant just because I think it helps promote growth. It's also a great pick for winter as it's not too strong or prone to overgrowing. A strong grower will probably buy it, without question. It tends to flower out with the first few inches of frost, but more often the roots turn loose before they can fully grow back.
It also happens as a late bloom crop. Most growers buy white, green or yellow flowers for winter.
My own experience with this is from my husband, who has this plant. He started out with seed of "cotton-pond" and got so used to this plant that it was used his whole life for gardening. But
