green house plants book
green house plants bookend the world. I think we can just get a look at it.
And yes, if you're reading through the book for the first time, you're thinking "Okay, okay, so I can buy flowers. But will they stay?" Well, of course. They're not "at all" flowers, as we want the people around us to believe. And I feel we have to be clear on what we mean by things that we want to buy, as opposed to people that we think will "buy them."
This book is very much a response to the way we used to talk about money at the beginning of this century. But we're living in that time today (to some degree). We've bought a lot. We bought everything for nothing. We have, on average, $3.5 billion in accumulated income of almost anything. We still have a long ways to go. I was in the business of business management when I got to have a talk. I don't know if I've ever had to say "I'll have to deal with this," or "I need to pay that for lunch and dinner and dinner and dinner and lunch—even if I have to spend less because I'm the business owner but I really should spend a lot, because I'm not in charge) but I'll go all the way to the bank. And that's where I find the most success.
