Our team-of-experts is the lead project group of the AHA for the region. It is located in the building that's now home to an industrial park and agricultural district. It's an idea that has stuck with us for a while. A little less than 2 years ago the AHA and many of the volunteers helped design the Greenways for the area. We started with the idea a few months back. Then we set about building a greenway that was more than just the greenway of an area just sitting on the ground. This concept has many benefits; it's a way of connecting these communities and creating a safer environment for everyone.

The Greenways have been shown to work well at developing green infrastructure in cities across the country. The design of the Greenways is what's required during construction of the new greenway, and what we will do when the project opens to the public. Now that the Greenways have been tested again, and those tests show what works, we think that our team at the AHA is prepared to move forward with further engineering design work to bring the Greenways to life for all of the stakeholders involved.

The Greenways in Los Angeles are just steps away from where the construction of this important greenway will begin—the LA Convention Center on Long Island. While the concept of the Greenways is not new—when they were first proposed to the AHA and community
