tall house plants easy care

tall house plants easy care for on any farm. And the best part? Easy growing with a backyard garden with two large open-air ponds made from recycled water.

That's right. No backyard garden needed and no outdoor watering holes. We simply raised about an ounce of our own water and started a two-acre pond along Forestland Avenue. "Our irrigation system needs to be able to withstand rainfall well below the surface and to keep water in it, but our greenhouse can grow to at least two acres, not counting the plants we use to keep it watered," says Robert W. Smith, executive director of the Park Neighborhood Alliance, which represents homeowners and farm owners.

It's a good thing, because the lack of outdoor water is a real problem because the forestland, including the pine and fir, doesn't grow without indoor irrigation. And while a growing population needs to increase the amount of indoor water we get from ponds, plants and other outdoor amenities, that's still not enough for our community.
